Our global footprint has enabled us to tap into international decor trends that keep up the South African market current. Our boards are sold in over 75 countries, some of which are Portugal, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, South Africa and Morocco.
Sonae Arauco South Africa recently invested R220 million in upgrading our factory in White River, Mpumalanga. This investment, which includes installing a world-class Dieffenbacher melamine press to produce boards of an exceptionally high quality and to expedite production to meet growing demands and interior design wood trends, has also created local community empowerment and skills development .
With advancements on automation within the industry, we are preserving the global practice of sustainable forestry practices within the production cycle.
